In the kitchen you’ll find a fridge stocked with filtered water and sodas, as well as a full service coffee bar complete with coffee grounds, creamer, and sugars. There are pots, pans, spices, silverware, plates, etc. in the kitchen all available for your use. Step into the living room and you’ll find a flatscreen TV with Cable and Netflix, an adorable photo wall, a wood burning fireplace, and a comfy couch to kick back and relax on. There's a guide book on the coffee table to give you ideas and help you make the most out of your vacation. You’ll also find games like Monopoly, Uno, and Scrabble, plus a full size, arcade-style pinball machine! Our back deck is a great place to hang out at and look at the stars on our cozy outdoor sectional, or enjoy the propane fire pit at the outdoor dining table. Have a summer evening BBQ with the family using the charcoal grill. String lights are featured along the entire back deck to make the evenings even more magical :) Our bedrooms are newly refreshed with thoughtful and trendy cabin decor. Every bed is complete with brand new, crisp white linens! A full set of plush bath linens are also provided for each guest. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are available and complimentary. Bedroom 1: California King bed + Full size bed (room sleeps 4) Also has a large comfy bean bag. Bedroom 2: California King bed + Twin bunk bed (room sleeps 4) Important things to note: ~Please review all house rules prior to booking. ~There will be a separate rental agreement to sign after booking. ~There is a Ring Doorbell just outside of the front door. ~Check weather ahead of time. I recommend bringing chains in the winter. Our street gets snow plowed by the county. ~There are stairs to get down to the property. Please be careful and use hand railing, especially if wet or icy outside. Lake access info: Twain Harte Lake is a members-only lake that we have access to! They are open from May 30th to September 6th. If your stay is during this time, instructions on how to enter the lake will be given to you during check-in. There is an $8 per renter entry fee for guests aged 3 and up. Admission is not guaranteed, and I suggest getting there early if you are visiting on a holiday or weekend, as they do hit capacity at times. ALL lake rules must be agreed to and followed. Winter Information: Our road as well as the main road that it is connected to is snow plowed during the winter. We are one of the lucky residential streets in Twain Harte that gets snow plowed. For the deck and stairs, there is a snow shovel available if needed. If there is snow or ice outside, I recommend using the South side to enter and exit Ponderosa Dr. This is the side closest to the 108 highway. The other side is a steep hairpin turn. Carrying chains in the winter is highly recommended. Please keep in mind that power outages are not uncommon during the winter, and unfortunately they are out of our control. There are battery powered lanterns in each bedroom, extra blankets available, and a fireplace + wood available for your use should this happen during your stay.
