A 20 minute drive to Bethel Woods Concerts and "walk" into town. This comfortable 3 bedroom house with 2 spacious bathrooms is ideally suited for a small family or friends. Originally built in 1865 it has been renovated with all the modern amenities needed for a throughly enjoyable stay. Centrally located in the popular Hamlet of Callicoon - walking distance to popular restaurants, a historic movie theatre, antique shops, the Delaware River, boutiques, a full service Supermarket, a distillery, enjoy tapas at the wine bar in town, bars, restaurants , the famous Sunday "Farmer's Market" as well as exciting attractions that occur on many weekends. You can leave your car at the house and walk right into town. If you want a River Trip experience you may want to call Landers River trips to set up and take a rafting or tubing experience down the river. The house is walking distance to the Landers River Trip access point in Callicoon. You can enjoy the large backyard with chairs, a picnic table and a hammock (seasonal). During the day or evening, roast marshmallows or smores at our campfire pit! The house is centrally located to many great hiking and walking trails (look at our Guest Book for a listing of all the trails). The house is located close to great attractions in New York and Pennsylvania such as Bethel Woods Center for the Arts (the original 1969 Woodstock site), small incredible towns as Narrowsburg, Roscoe, Liberty, Resorts World International and The Kartrite Indoor Waterpark near Monticello as well as Honesdale and Hawley, PA. It is a short drive to any of the destinations. A great place to stay during any season!
