'Tropical Island Rentals' offer this private Barbados villa for rent that sits on 1 acre of grounds on the prestigious Sandy Lane Estate and is within walking distance of the Sandy Lane Hotel and the Property Owners Beach Club. The villa is bright and airy and has excellent quality furnishings throughout. The spacious vaulted Living Room is a blend of old Barbados mahogany furniture & coral stone with the more modern bamboo to create a modern Caribbean style feel. The main living and dining room has a large marble formal dining table perfect for enjoying dinner with friends and family while on holiday. Once the large sliding doors are opened to the northern side of the living room you flow naturally out onto the terrace which overlooks the pool and garden area. This space is perfect for enjoying a cocktail and a good book while others swim and play in the Barbados sun. There is also a small wrought iron table within the garden perfect for a morning coffee or a game of cards. The villa has three expansive bedrooms all of which features air-conditioning. The large master bedroom is furnished with a king-sized bed, with a double basin en-suite bathroom with a large shower. The second and third bedrooms offer twin beds, which can be zipped together to make kings. The second bedroom has a full bathroom accessed across the hallway and the third bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom with bath/shower. Ideally located less than five minutes walk from the Sandy Lane Property Owner Beach Club, guests can take a quick stroll down to the beach and enjoy complimentary sun loungers and beach umbrellas. When at the beach make the most of your time in Barbados with a quick zip around on a jet ski or take a glass-bottom boat down to Payne’s Bay. The villa has a permanent Housekeeper who is an excellent cook and who will take care of your every need six days a week. She will prepare breakfast, light lunches, and other meals by arrangement only. She also will take care of all the laundry including personal items and keep the villa in top shape, so you do not have to lift a finger. This is truly a perfect tropical getaway, from lounging in your private pool to days at the beach your stay in Barbados will be on you keep coming back to year after year. Holetown is only a 3-minute drive away where there are numerous fine dining restaurants, bars, and a supermarket. Please note the cost of groceries is not included in the price. However, we can arrange to have your initial groceries delivered to the property for your arrival. This would be payable directly to our local house managers. ​This property rental DOES NOT permit the use of Riemann P20 Sunscreen, as it damages towels and fabrics. This property has been approved for quarantine which is required for unvaccinated travellers to Barbados. There is a 6-7 day quarantine period pending return of test results after testing on Day 5. 24hr security is required during this period. Security prices vary from property to property so please contact us for an exact quote. Please note the levels of quarantine and/or curfews in place are not one of the criteria. The Covid-19 policy is only applicable in the event that: 1. The Barbados Government refuses passenger entry based on their origin (whether by residence, recent travel to a particular destination or based on flight origin). 2. A Foreign government issues a specific travel ban to or from Barbados that prevents a guest from travelling. 3. A level 4 CDC Warning or Foreign Commonwealth Office (FCO) Advisory against Barbados must exist. At least one of these criteria must be in place 3 weeks in advance of your scheduled date to be able to postpone your trip for up to 12 months. Please note your own travel/trip insurance is still required to cover all other kinds of cancellation including if you or a member of your group tests positive for Covid-19 before or during your trip. Tropical Island Rentals, the local house managers and the owners of the properties will not be responsible for any costs relating to the testing of guests while on the island. Refunds will not be applicable to anyone testing positive for COVID-19, which will result in them and their party not being able to travel or not able to continue to stay at the property booked if a positive test result is received in Barbados.
