A classic Cracker home, there are two beautifully decorated bedrooms (one queen, one full) and one full bath. HGTV's Coastal Collection Paint highlights the vaulted ceiling, wainscoting and original doors. Recently uncovered heart pine floors glow with Cedar Key pride. Quality furniture, TVs, and mattresses/linens. The breezy wraparound front porch with locally made porch swing and adirondack chairs makes an ideal spot for people watching, reading, sipping tea, or just relaxing. The Ida Belle Cottage was once home to Mrs. Ida Belle Davis, who raised her family here. Though Mrs. Ida Belle is no longer with us, her family continues to live and work in Cedar Key. When you enter the house, don't forget to look on the wall just to your left, a little tribute to the cottage's namesake is there for your enjoyment. A true Southern woman, she would want you to stay and be comfortable. Most of all, she would want you to see Cedar Key the way she did--from the little cottage on 1st Street.
