Owners are fully vaccinated!! Perfect for a short visit to the Nation’s capital or for a longer term work/study stay in a central DC neighborhood. Walking distance to grocery, Target, great dining & coffee. Take the bike share around the city from just a few blocks away or hop on the metro to Capitol Hill, Smithsonian Museums, or the monuments. Cook a great meal in the fully equipped kitchen with supplies from the local farmer’s market. Guests have access to the entire apartment. We live upstairs and are available should any issues arise or you need a recommendation but will otherwise be out of your way. You’ll have a private entrance and entire apartment to yourself. There is a keypad for contactless check-in. Columbia Heights and Petworth are popular DC neighborhoods with lots of local restaurants, a strong Salvadoran community (try the papusas!) and easy access to everything in the city. There’s also a Target, several grocery stores, and parks nearby! Metro: Columbia Heights station & Georgia Ave/Petworth station on the Green & Yellow lines Metrobus: (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) , Circulator (McPherson Sq - Adams Morgan) Parking: street parking is free with a free visitor permit. Register at ParkDC Permits (online or app store). After booking we will provide you the visitor parking pass code. You are responsible for requesting and printing your parking pass. Cars without valid parking passes are regularly ticketed. Observe all parking signs. There is no private parking but there is street parking available. Street parking restrictions will be enforced beginning June 1 so we will have a visitor parking pass available for all guests after that date.
