Want to vacation in Mayberry... that’s what Thorp is like !!! Right off of Highway 29, 45 mins East of Eau Claire An upstair duplex with Private entrance 600 Mbps internet, smart TVs, and cable Peaceful neighborhood, right near the center of town. 1 queen bedroom with electric fireplace, livingroom with sofa bed, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. We have several restaurants in town: the Torpedo, Mesquite Grille, Aroma, and Dutchess Café Plus three fast food restaurants: McDonalds, Subway, and Kwik Trip You can get a good cup of coffee at: Aroma, Country Flora, or Kwik Trip. I live in Thorp, so I am close by to help if you need anything during your stay. Thorp is called the “City of Trees”. Autumn is my favorite time in Thorp. If you like cheese... you will love Thorp. Within a 45 minute drive, there is at least 6 cheese factories. Marieke Gouda is here in Thorp. Her factory has won best in the world two times. Not to mention our adorable full size cows statues which you will see all over town. Don’t forget to leave time to take a tour. And don’t get me started on the hunting & fishing here in Clark County!!! There are two apartments, you have access to all of the top apartment by a well light private entrance at the back of the house. Also access to all of the yard and parking on the street to the left of the house. Our guesthouse is decorated in a Modern Farmhouse style. Thorp is a small country town and we love our farms and appreciate our farmers. We just updated our livingroom and bedroom with a new paint and some new furniture. There’s no need for public transportation here because you can walk or bike easily anywhere you want to go in Thorp.
