The property is situated just minutes from the heart of Wroxham, which is known as the ‘Capital of the Broads’, with its waterside restaurants, pubs, cafes and shops. Sailing, walking, nature trails, bicycle hire and golf are all available locally. The coast, with its sandy beaches, is only 12 miles and visitors can experience the delights of the attractive coastal villages. For the children, a day out at BeWILDerwood in Horning or Wroxham Barns are a short drive away. Alternatively spend a day in the city of Norwich, 8 miles, with its cathedral, museums, theatres and a vast array of cafes and shops. National Trust properties well worth visiting include Felbrigg Hall, Blickling Hall and Horsey Windpump. Shop 750 yards, pub 1 mile. There is an unfenced river in the garden, however, the decking area is fully enclosed and secure for children and dogs. Up to one dog only. There is a boat mooring to the front of the property and an 8 seater launch and fuel is available on request from the owner in advance of arrival, a £100 security deposit is payable for use of the boat.
