Our generous two-story, 1885 Victorian sleeps eight comfortably, with four bedrooms, two full baths, five porches, and a private creek side lawn. Nestled in the small village of Stony Fork, just ten minutes from historic Wellsboro, Bluemont is rich with old-growth hemlock trim, hardwood floors, and original artwork. This bright and air-filled home offers a spacious living room and a formal dining room, with French doors opening wide onto a large porch above the creek below. The dining room includes built-in bookshelves and an inviting window seat to nap, escape with your favorite books, or continue the dinner conversation late into the night. The new light-filled and fully stocked kitchen features large-plank cherry countertops and open shelving with all your glassware, dinnerware, and cookware needs. Adjacent to the front entrance is a mudroom/ office with high-speed internet and a double-thick door for added privacy while working remotely.  The new first-floor Master Suite (Tree House) encompasses a queen bed, a tiled bathroom with a large walk-in shower, on-site laundry and a private entrance off a large deck. Enter the second story up a classic open-stairway and choose between three beautifully decorated bedrooms with antique double bed sets, vanities, and artworks. A second built-in window seat offsets the unique full bathroom with a clawfoot tub and shower. The two extra-large bedrooms (Falling Water and Blue Stone) offset a second-story balcony entrance, accessible to all and perfect for morning coffee or star watching in the evening. The third bedroom (Bird's Nest) includes two twin beds and a closet. Leave your windows open at night for a refreshing breeze, keeping the house cool throughout the day!  This calm oasis offers three separate lawns and ample intimate spaces to enjoy a large family get-away or celebration, your next girls' weekend, a retreat, or a remote working home! Escape the hustle of everyday life down a stone path to your private Stony Fork Creek, perfect for wading, fossil hunting, or skipping rocks! A nature lover's paradise, Bluemont  is three miles from Stony Fork Creek State Park with five swimming holes and hiking trails, four miles from the PA Midstate Trailhead, and six miles to the PA Grand Canyon.
