This listing is for both of our jungle bungalows - to book for a group of up to 6 people. We are steps away from the Macal River and have a two-person kayak ready for your use (no additional charge). Large private deck & shared outdoor kitchen facilities. Lucky Dreamer Lodge is a non-smoking property. The bungalow is fully screened. Sleeps 4 comfortably. NEW BELIZE TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: For arrivals on and after February 15th 2022, Belize requires specific travel health insurance that can only be purchased via them, either online or upon arrival. The cost is $18 U.S. per person and is valid for 21 days. After booking I will send you the link to purchase the insurance in advance. The Belize Bungalow was our home for several years before moving into the new home we built a bit closer to the river. The bungalow is GENUINE Belizean built - sturdy & functional, but not fancy. The large deck has 4 hammocks, and additional seating - with room to spare! We are steps away from the Macal River and have a two-person kayak and innertubes ready for your use (no additional charge). The Belize Bungalow does not have a view of the river, but does have a nice jungle-yard view (as seen in the many photos). The Belize Bungalow is fully screened. There is a custom-made mahogany queen bed, and two custom-made twin-size sofa beds. The very large, covered/screened deck overlooks the property. There are birds everywhere & of every kind! We had a birdwatcher recently identify over 60 bird species in a three week period! The Banana Bungalow has a large deck with a hammock, dining table and a love seat - with room to spare! We are steps away from the Macal River. The Banana Bungalow is fully screened. There is a custom-made mahogany king bed, and two nightstands. The very large, covered deck overlooks the property with a river view. There is a separate outdoor kitchen/dining area for the use of our guests. The kitchen is a shared area with guests that book the Banana Bungalow. It is not inside the cabin - as just boiling water would heat the entire room! Even our own kitchen is 'outside.' :-) The outdoor kitchen is two steps down from the screened deck. We provide coffee, sugar, powered cream, salt, pepper, garlic powder, season all, a variety of hot sauces, and many other condiments/cooking ingredients. The shared outdoor kitchen is well-stocked with pots/pans, mixing bowls, dishes flatware, cups, etc. We also have items such as aluminum foil, plastic wrap, non-stick spray, cooking oil, etc. We also provide (at no charge) a 5 gallon jug of filtered water for the use of guests (which we replace as needed). We recommend bringing refillable/lidded bottles to take advantage of the water and to avoid buying bottled water while here. We also keep one gallon of water in the frig, and have ice packs and ice cubes available for guest use.
