Plockton is an area with interests for everyone. Locally landed seafood and Plockton brewed ale can be enjoyed all year round in several nearby award-winning inns and restaurants. Spectacular walking, hiking and mountain biking can be explored, from low-level coastal walks, to trails up many of the surrounding Munros. Enjoy a day on Loch Carron amongst the seals, otters and birdlife, with boat trips, fishing, sailing and kayaking available locally. The cottage is an excellent base to tour the surrounding area, with the Isle of Skye, Applecross, Kintail and Glenelg only a short drive.
