Slightly further afield is the county town of Taunton with a large range of shops, restaurants and entertainment options. The beach of Lyme Regis and West Bay are just over 35 minutes away for a lovely day out exploring. Exmoor is around 40 minutes away for the more adventurous with lots of gorgeous walks. Glastonbury, Street and Sherborne are reached in under an hours drive. Bristol and Exeter airports can be reached in less than an hour. Shop 2½ miles, pub 1¾ miles and restaurant 2½ miles.
