Pasithea beach suite with amazing sea view

In front of the village, there is a very long sandy beach, with shallow waters, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. This huge beach starts from the western part of the village and extends up for quite a few kilometers to the east, up to the village of Komos. The beach hosts several Caretta-Caretta sea turtles, while hatching their eggs in the summer, and as both the turtles and their nests are protected by the Sea Turtle Protection Society, it has become famous all over the world. The beach of Kokkinos Pirgos consists of two parts. The eastern part, from the port of Kokkinos Pirgos up to the airport, is called Kataliki. The second part of the beach, Makrimaliana (or Kakoskalo) is located in the northwest of the port and extends up to Agia Galini. In the west, there is a small harbor, full of fishing boats. In the summer, this harbor is the point of departure for fishing boat tours to nearby beaches, so that the tourists can visit various heavenly spots of natural beauty. In the surrounding area, there are a lot of archaeological sites, picturesque routes and landscapes, as well as small taverns, where you can taste delicious traditional Cretan dishes.
