Les Geais is situated in a small hamlet of St Pierre La Noue surrounded by countryside. The perfect place to just relax and unwind making use of the pool and also wonderfully located to visit La Rochelle, Rochefort, Saintes, The Isle de Re and Isle d’oleron pus the other islands and tour the wonderful coastline of the Charente. The perfect place for a countryside and coast vacation Our Blue room with a reference to the Jay birds we see in the garden Les Geais means The Jay Birds in French, And Andrew’s Aunt and Uncle named the house when they first moved toLes Chaumes de Pere at the end of the 90’s Just as the house has a birds name.we have given all our guest room a birds name also. We called this on “les Geais” because of the room’s colours: Blue and Chestnut Brown, similar to the Jay. Enjoy a chic and rustic atmosphere in this DOuble Room, which is en-suite with a charming shower room with original wall features. Les Geais was never a plan but has become a project of love. The renovation project of this delightful typical Charentese farm house is on going however the en-suite bedrooms are finished to chic hotel standards which won’t disappoint. The ongoing renovations will not encroach on your stay at all and we hope that once you have stayed with us once that you will want to return and be part of our project and see differences each time.
