A Cosy and Romantic Holiday Cottage... Our Normandy Holiday Cottage - Les Deux Sabots is a pretty, detached romantic cottage for two, nestling in the peaceful hamlet of Bréel. The quiet and pretty village is lovingly cared for by its friendly residents, whose window boxes and gorgeous gardens blaze a trail of colour all summer long. Les Deux Sabots is a traditional, three storey cottage in Normandy stone, perfect for a romantic holiday in Normandy. Detached, it has its own small, secluded garden, covered and driveway parking , barbecue and a little vino veranda for your evening aperitif or morning coffee. We find the cottage comfortable and spacious for two; but there's room for more if needed. Les Deux Sabots is named after the clogs local farm workers wore in years gone by (there's a miniature pair nailed to the door as a reminder of past (Website hidden by Airbnb) one of just four houses on this quiet lane, which has no through traffic. Breathtaking walks and established ramblers' routes start just outside the door. A small, French village. There are shops about 3 miles away. The nearest restaurant is about 1 mile away and is a nice walk. This part of Suisse Normandy is very picturesque but does lack in public transport. The nearest railway station is Flers, about 20 minutes away from where you can jump on a train to Paris (if you wish) and be there in less than 2.5hrs!
