This room in our shared apartment is suitable for a family or group of friends. Suitable for budget travellers, friends, groups, small families. Only Beds &... conversations (if you like!) Toilet/bathroom and common areas such as balcony, verandah, terrace and kitchenette will be shared with other guests. The facility is on the first floor, so please be aware that there are steps/stairs. Feel free to use our terrace to relax and take in the views of the lake and the Kanchenjunga range (on a clear day of course). Our shared apartment rooms are basic but cosy and comfortable. We have: One family room with two double beds One room with two single beds each One room with one double bed and one single bed Two single rooms with a double bed Rooms for all! Choose what suits you best. You are more than welcome to come up to our terrace to view the beautiful Himalayas and lakeside, relax in the sun. Feel free to interact with other guests staying in other rooms and the locals in the neighbourhood. Use the verandah/balcony only for smoking please We love meeting and exchanging conversations with people but we also respect your need for privacy. We live right upstairs, so you can come up for a chat over tea or to ask anything right away. Our home is just 5mins away from the lakeside and 2mins from the main road. Friendly locality with restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacy and sightseeing spots nearby. Close to the private and local taxi stands. Mirik is a quaint place for Nature lovers. Hosts a pretty lake with boating and horse riding facilities. Hike around the local villages and take a stroll to the Monastery. Stay back to volunteer for the village, teach, learn, meditate or simply relax. Mirik is mostly a cool place but can get quite cold during winters. Winter prices for a night may differ. Please check the calendar for rates. Please read through the sections carefully here to get an idea of the place and town. We are 2 hours away from Darjeeling, Kurseong, Silguri, and the NJP railway station and Bagdogra airport. The taxi stand is just 5mins away. Mirik is just an hour away from Maneybhanjyang, the starting point of Sandakphu/Singalila National Park, popular amongst backpackers and adventure enthusiasts. Please do not smoke and drink inside the rooms. Watch the carpets! Ours is a very close-knit neighbourhood with families and children, so we request you to respect the culture and people here. Kindly maintain decorum at the property. We would appreciate it if you kept the rooms clean and tidy as you would keep your home. Leave dirty shoes outside the room. The neighbourhood tends to sleep early too, so we request that guests do not create noise or play loud music post 10pm.
