You can even see the Ocean from the Shower. Kitchen has granite counters and travertine flooring. Frig/Stove /Huge Kitchen 1 king bed, 1 Queen bed and one Day bed with two twin mattresses. One queen size air mattress available upon request. All rooms very light and bright, Ocean breezes through out the entire home. 2 full bathrooms with showers and tub. Situated between Manhattan Beach and Marina Del Rey/ Santa Monica. 5-10 minutes from LAX and Venice Beach. Walk a few Steps to the sand and hear the Ocean Waves from your own home. Beach chairs and sand toys at the house. Bike path takes you along coast both south Manhattan Beach/Redondo/Hermosa and north for 10 -20 miles ( Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Malibu). You can rent Bikes at Daniels Rentals 13737 Fiji Way Marina Del Rey, Barbeque from the roof deck with the best view you will ever find. All Linens and towels, soap and toiletries provided. There is new air conditioning but you rarely will need it being a few feet from the Ocean. Air conditioning now allows you to close the windows at night to reduce the disruption from the airplane noise. We do ask that you please turn off the air during the day when all the windows are open. The air system can't keep up when cooling the outside air all day long. You are quite close to LAX so you will hear and see the planes taking off from LAX when you are outside (Many people find it Spectacular to watch). When you are inside there is not too much plane noise and when windows are closed most people can't hear them. The Lower back cement area is for our family personal use. All the upper and lower decks and are all for the guest to enjoy privately. Numerous grocery stores including Trader Joe's Bristal Farms, Ralphs and TJ Maxx and Kohls Dept stores within a few miles. Beach chairs, towels and toys available. There is a exterior room in the lower back which is for our private use and a completely separate entrance from the home that we have access to and occasionally stay in. There is no common entrance or door adjoining the two areas. TV, Wi-Fi, and phone with a kitchen complete with dishes, glassware, pots/pans and utinsils, coffee maker, and blender, kitchen with granite countertops and bar stools, oven, microwave, dishwasher, and Washer Dryer. Towels and bed linens are provided. Long 3 car private driveway. Plenty of guest parking both in the driveway as well as on the street. In Playa Del Rey it's Never too hard to find street parking. I am very active and available 24 hours a day. I leave simple instructions and contacting me is very easy. Proximity to LAX is very close and you can see and hear the planes taking off and even sometimes landing. You are 5 houses from the Ocean so you see and hear the ocean waves from the house. Playa Shopping is unique small town shopping. There are Different types of restaurants from casual Italian dining at Café Penguinis to The Shack a landmark known for its burgers or Mo's Sports Bar with delicious food. Bike Rentals at Daniels Bike Rentals 13737 Fiji Way, Marina Del Rey CA You can bicycle up the beach path a mile or so north into Marina Del Rey. You bike into and over the bridge into Famous Marina Del Rey with all the most beautiful Boats and Luxurious Yachts into Fishermans Village. Many options for shopping and dining all while on the waterfront in Marina Del Rey just a few minutes away by bike. A bit further by Bike or car you will find the Famous Venice Beach Less than 10 minutes to LAX and 3 miles to 3 major freeways (405,105 and 90) Enjoy the ocean breeze in Playa Del Rey while viewing the Grand Pacific ocean north from Malibu and south to Palos Verdes all the while watching boats/and on Thursday you can see the regattas coming and going in and out of the Marina Del Rey jetty. Playa Del Rey boasts wildlife and natural bird habitat. Just 5 minutes east of Playa Del Rey is Playa Vista, IMAX and Microsoft offices. Playa Del Rey and Playa Vista has become known as part of Silicon Beach area of Santa Monica. Heading north leaving Playa Del Rey to Marina Del Rey our neighboring town just a 10-15 minute walk or a 10 minute drive or bike ride to Fisherman’s Village. Heading north from Venice in just 5 minutes you will enjoy Santa Monica and the Santa Monica Pier, shop or dine or enjoy the street performers on the 3rd Street Promenade or visit incredible galleries. Continue from Santa Monica up the coast 10 minutes to Malibu and visit the J. Paul Getty Museum (Getty Villa in Malibu) completely renovated in 2006.
