Rural house El Pati de l´Albera - Wine Experience

Surrounded by three national parks, between vineyards and olive groves, offers the opportunity for a relaxing holiday, with the possibility of sports, culture and culinary experiences. We might organize for you guided tours to the several wine factories in the area, where you can taste the excellent wines from DO Empordà. Besides all the region offer lot of routes for trekking and for bike lovers! El Pati de l´Albera is a friendly and welcoming rural house located in the village of Sant Climent Sescebes, around 15 Km from Figueres, in the heart of Alt Empordà. The house boasts five unique guest bedrooms, each with its own style and personality, providing facilities to suit any guest. The house is an inviting holiday location at any time of year: in winter a real log fire creates a cosy atmosphere in the common room, while in summer the spacious terrace offers a magical backdrop for an informal evening spent in the company of friends, good food and fine wines. When the whole house is rented by a single group of guests, full access is given to all common areas including the courtyard and the terrace, and the kitchen may also be used. For us, our guests provide our raison d´être, and we are always available to deal with queries and answer any questions that arise. We are also happy to offer advice and suggestions about activities on offer in the surrounding area: visitors can count on the assistance of an unofficial guide who will gladly share his personal knowledge of the region. Sant Climent is a tiny village, with a population of only 600, but despite its size it boasts a full range of amenities: from a mini-market to a butcher´s shop which offers fresh meats and home made deli products, as well as a pharmacy and a modern hair salon with spa and wellness centre. Although a bus connects the village of San Climent Sescebes and the city of Figueres, we recommend travelling by car as this is the simplest and easiest way to explore the beautiful surroundings. We are proud to confirm that the house is enrolled in the Catalonia Tourism Registry (RTC) PG-000794 and complies with all safety regulations providing fire extinguisheres, emergency lights and smoke detectors connected to a central alarm.
