Pacific View Dalaguete (Guest Room)

The house was built in 2019 on a small hill about 95 m above sea level on the southern edge of the village not far from the Pacific Ocean. A few immigrant houses were still being built in the neighborhood. The access to the residential area is via a concrete road. The property, inhabited by the owners, has a water well shared with other houses, its own water filter system, solar technology for hot water, and modern bathrooms. The rooms have been stylishly furnished with modern furniture and the bedrooms have been equipped with hotel-quality box spring beds. The bedrooms also have ultra-quiet air conditioning units. A large lounge with TV and dining area are also available to guests. The separate entrance to the guest room is on the garden side via the small terrace. It is equipped with a queen-size bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet according to European standards. The guest room offers fantastic views of the blue Pacific Ocean and the island's green mountains. Our guests can use the large terrace with the swimming pool at any time. There is also a television (satellite) available between 5 and 10 p.m. in the lounge. There is a shared kitchen, so guests can prepare their own meals if they wish. There is a charge for gas and cleaning services. We, Lilia Tambis-Klingebiel and Frank Klingebiel, emigrated from Germany in September 2019. In the Philippines, we had a bungalow with an apartment and a separate guest room built according to our wishes. Since we still feel too young to just enjoy the wonderful view all day, we have taken up renting rooms and entertaining guests as a sideline. We are also happy to support our guests with all organizational questions relating to their trip. Since we live in the property ourselves, we are (almost) always available for our guests. Cambanog is a typical Filipino village. The main town of Dalaguete (Poblacion) with all its shops is approx. 1.5 km away. Due to the village character and the Filipino culture, you have to expect corresponding noises from roosters and dogs, construction noise, loud mopeds, as well as music and karaoke in the neighborhood. A great view over the Pacific Ocean to Bohol Island makes up for a lot. The bus routes from Cebu City to the south along the east coast stop at any point on the main road in Dalaguete approx. 1.5 km from the property. From here you can be driven to your accommodation by tricycle, or let us pick you up.
