They have turned the old barn into a very comfortable and practical house. It is situated between Pau and Orthez, and there are several tourist attractions nearby. The markets at Orthez or of Navarrenx will allow you to discover the Béarn's culinary traditions and handicraft. The Basque Country is just a step away and an hour's drive brings you to the coast: the port of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the surf at Biarritz... And for those who just want to stay put and relax, the little village of Casteide-Cami is very peaceful. The surrounding countryside is attractive, and the locals are friendly; your hosts will be delighted to introduce you to all the duck specialities that they produce on their farm.
