A charming cottage with breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlantic before you and the lush rainforests of Mount Nevis behind you. A pristine white house surrounded by private gardens, tropical palm trees, and mango trees a top a quiet road in Gingerland a stone’s throw from Golden Rock Hotel, this idyllic cottage is built in a breezy, open style and is meticulously maintained. The cottage is furnished with a tasteful mix of vintage and new. Taj McCall, approximately 1,800 square feet, has two bedrooms, TV, Wi-Fi, several large fans, an on-deck swimming pool, and even a brand new ice cream maker. The master bedroom has a Queen and the second bedroom has twin beds. The bathroom has been modernized and a brand-new kitchen has been added with dishwasher. From the new pool and expansive deck, one can hear the ocean waves crashing on Windward Beach and enjoy stargazing at night. We can arrange for easy pick-up in St. Kitts by our favorite driver, ‘Sea Moss’, who will deliver you to Reggae Beach where you will be taken on a 7-minute boat ride to Nevis. We also provide a welcome basket of groceries, wine and twice-weekly maid service. All maintenance and utilities are included. Nevis is a tiny tropical island formed around an extinct volcano with a rainforest around the peak. Though long since independent from its colonial past, it retains a unique British charm. Nevis has escaped heavy development as a tourism spot -- the key to the peace, quiet and leisurely pace that are its greatest charms. The countryside – and Nevis is mostly countryside -- has an untamed and rustic quality, as in herds of goats roaming the roads. The weather is a constant treat. Daytime temperatures seldom vary from a balmy 80°F and it’s comfortably warm at night. Nevis is a wonderful throwback: all the pleasures of the Caribbean, before the Caribbean was overrun with commercialism. A rare and beautiful gem of an island.
