This is a BOAT/FERRY ACCESS ONLY location Great Mackerel Beach is a small peaceful community opposite Palm Beach with no shops. Access is by ferry on the hour from Palm Beach Wharf during the day or water taxi at other times. It is a very scenic 30 minute ferry ride from Palm Beach Wharf. The location has an abundance of wildlife and a sub-tropical terrain. Great Mackerel Beach borders the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park and therefore a fantastic place for bushwalking.This is a place where it is common to see wallabies, monitors, goannas, lyre birds and brush turkeys. The newly renovated house consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 queen rooms and a bunk room that sleeps 2 The house is suitable for a maximum of 6 guests. There are two covered decks, one at the front of the house and one at the back. The front deck features a large dining table, daybed, and a wicker outdoor lounge. There are two newly renovated bathrooms, one with bath/shower and laundry. The other bathroom has shower/toilet and vanity. There is a well equipped new kitchen and living area. The kitchen is stocked with salt, pepper, oil, tea, coffee, sugar and condiments for guest use. Strictly no smoking Pets on request
