Roost & Relax, Downtown Farmhouse

Near the center of the endlessly cute town of Yellow Springs. Just one block from the bike path, and a block and a half to downtown, Roost & Relaxation is a second floor bedroom with its own bathroom, in a recently renovated 1800s farmhouse Newly remodeled farmhouse in central Yellow Springs. What was once on the decried as the eyesore of the block has become one of the most spectacularly beautiful homes in the village. Featuring high ceilings, low floors, and lots and lots of light. Roost & Relaxation is the only room on the second floor of the house. It has a new twin-sized bed, a private bath with shower, and wireless internet. The house has a wood-burning fireplace, Netflix, a full-sized piano, and central air. On-street parking is readily available. You’ll have ready access to Ohio's most cosmopolitan small town. Just one block to downtown shops and restaurants and the Little Miami scenic bike path. Less than a mile to Glen Helen Nature Preserve and Antioch College. Also within easy reach are Young’s Jersey Dairy, John Bryan State Park and Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve. Guests are welcome to use the kitchen, living room, porch & patio, in addition to their bedroom. I travel a fair amount, and may or may not be in town when the room is booked. If I'm here, I'll look forward to chatting, and sharing any tips on the area. Yellow Springs is a rare sort of town. Tiny but cosmopolitan. Does that make it "micropolitan?" Lots of art everywhere. Antioch College. Glen Helen nature preserve, John Bryan State Park, and Clifton Gorge State Nature Preserve are nearby. Great restaurants. The popular Yellow Springs Brewery is a half-block away. Fun shops abound. What are you waiting for? Downtown Yellow Springs is easily walkable. You'll want a car to leave the Village limits. The Little Miami Scenic Trail (AKA The Bikepath) is one block from the house, and provides access to Young's Jersey Dairy, Springfield, Xenia, Dayton, and, if you're ambitious, Cincinnati.
