The Magnolia Hse/Historic District/Jefferson, GA is the perfect place for your relaxing getaway! Beautifully renovated, but built in 1902, it has all the conveniences to host your stay, including vintage serving ware, punch bowls, China sets etc. This historic home boasts large bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and maintains all of the old charm of its earlier days. One block off the square in Jefferson, it sits right next to the former courthouse and was once the Judge's Chambers for the courthouse. Restored to its former glory, the large house has high ceilings, many porches, a huge yard, and large living/dining areas. Guests will have all access to the house, yard, porches, and all of the fun vintage contents including various sets of vintage China, glassware, silver serving ware, approx. 30 vintage metal patio chairs, tables, tablecloths, all for your unique stay. Megan manages the property, but is not in Jefferson. She is available by phone, text, or email anytime. Jefferson is a quiet, quaint town, not far from Athens, with fun stuff to do: The old Cotton Mill is just around the corner from the house; the square to explore; The Crawford Long Museum just across the street; walking tours; the outlet shops in Commerce nearby; or just stay at the house and watch football on one of the many large TV screens, or just relax. You can walk one block, to the square in Jefferson. There is ample parking in the driveway, on the back driveway area, and free parking on the street between the Magnolia House and the courthouse. No smoking except outside. Surveillance cameras monitor the exterior; please ensure that your headcount is accurate or you will lose your security deposit, for undisclosed guests.
