Comfortable Space(s) in Beautiful Colonial

When our daughter moved out, we redid the main room with a double bed and cot. It’s right next to a bathroom. We’ll greet you on arrival and engage with you or leave you alone - your choice. We can handle late night check-ins. We know tourist hot spots and best cheesesteaks! Welcome students, singles, families! Until covid is tamed, we are only open for rentals three weeks or more. Second room with a double pull-out couch is available when booking main room for upcharge. This room has a desk area as well as double bed, night stands, dresser, fridge, coffeemaker, luggage rack and hanging space in closet. There is a cot in this room for a second or third person. Two windows for ample natural light, and ventilation w/fresh air is great when AC is not needed. Linens will be provided to guests. Guests staying longer will have their room cleaned, sheets changed and be provided fresh linens. Toiletries are available if guests have forgotten something. Guests are welcome to use the laundry and as well as other amenities in the common areas and outside. Plenty of off-street parking is available in the private driveway. The bathroom is just outside this room, between the second room if needed. If its nice weather, both front and back porch are available for sitting/working ....and yes wi-fi will reach! Our schedules are pretty random AND flexible, so someone is usually here if you need something. Our friendly pomeranian mix, Sherlock, will bark a welcome - in AND when you leave:) We are literally two blocks away from the city limit of Philadelphia, so have easy access to the city. We are near a great intersection of Korean groceries and restaurants, & coffee shops that are fun to explore. H-Mart plaza, a Korean grocery store is a world unto its own, like going to Korea with no airfare:). Dubu, the Korean restaurant in that plaza is among Philly's top 5o restaurants Creekside Tavern is also nearby in the heart of Elkins Park Jenkintown is a ten minute ride with everything from Cosi to La Pergola (Mediterranean), Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, Panera, etc. Curtis Arboretum and High School Park are also a great parks to walk around. We feel comfortable and safe here, even to walk at night. Ten minute walk to train which heads into Center City Philadelphia (about a 20 minute ride). Bus is also very convenient less than a block away on Old York Road 611, a main artery of the city 20 minute bus ride to Einstein Hospital; 25 minutes to Temple University. Seven minute drive to Salus and Arcadia University. Near Teleos Leadership Institute, YIEP, AJ and other synagogues and churches. Regionally central. Ten minutes to Jenkintown which has movie theatre and restaurants. Walkable neighborhood to coffee shop and grocery. We aren't far from the entrance to 309 which will lead to the turnpike. We have a long term Tenant that was was quarantined with us and she’s decided to stay:)
