One of Bucks County's most fabled properties located on the banks of the New Hope canal about 1 mile from downtown New Hope (great for biking) This romantic English Village property is where the New Hope Art Colony began. Over 60 great restaurants within 2 miles of your cottage. Museums, art galleries, live music, cafe's... You can walk or ride your bikes aprox 1 mile to New Hope or Lambertville along the Delaware canal tow-path. Note: (No weddings, No Infants, No Pets and No one night stays) Our cottage is so charming you may not want to leave. Contact us on the morning of or the evening prior to your arrival so we can coordinated your check-in time with you. We want to make sure we are here to show you around and to give you your key when you arrive. We always ask our guests to call or text us with any questions while they are here. We live in the little English village too and we make ourselves easily accessible if you need us. We will be giving you a tour of the little village when you arrive so you know where everything is. New Hope, Pa is most famous for being an art colony which its been since the late 1800's and this property is where it all began. New Hope is teaming with so many great restaurants and cafe's, art galleries, museums, unique shops and live music and theater. If you like to just park your car and explore the main street and all of its little side streets you'll be busy all day. If you are really looking to do some serious shopping, then you'll want to go 5 minutes South to Peddlers Village In Lahaska, Pa. Peddlers Village was built to look like a Colonial village. It has brick walkways that take you passed beautiful gardens and fountains and passed 80 unique shops and restaurants. You can walk to downtown New Hope on the canal towpath. We have accesss to the Towpath right here. New Hope has a taxi service and a bike rental shop right in town. Great day trips on weekends to NYC by bus. If you plan on having dinner at The Inn at Philips Mill, please call or text us in advanced (Kurt: (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) so we can turn on the outside spotlights at that end of the property so you have light to see along the walkway to the Inn. Otherwise, you'll be walking in the dark. If you are riding bikes, please remember to ride your bikes out the driveway to the tow-path and not through the Iron gates.
