Our newly renovated 1 bedroom apartment is located in the heart of Loudoun County's Wine Region. It is situated on a beautiful country road with it's own private entrance. It has a full kitchen, WiFi, TV and washer/dryer. A perfect getaway! Guests will have access to their own private outdoor space. Our Catoctin Valley home is central to many wonderful activities. In our own "backyard" you can visit Flying Ace Farm (Beer and Spirits) www.flyingacefarm.com and Creeks Edge Winery www.creeksedgewinery.com which are both about a 3 minute drive away. Also within a short drive you can be biking on the C&O Canal, hiking on the Appalachian trail or canoeing/kayaking on the Potomac River. Civil War sites including Harper's Ferry, WV and Antietam Battlefield are also nearby. The historic towns of Leesburg, VA and Frederick, MD are only a 20 minute ride. There you will find an abundance of great restaurants and antique shops as well as the Leesburg Premium Outlet Mall. Loudoun and Frederick wineries, breweries and distilleries are all around us. You can enjoy a day visiting some of the beautiful tasting rooms and possibly end your evening at one of the local award winning restaurants. The MARC train station at Point of Rock's Maryland is a 5 minute drive from us and provides weekday commuter transportation to and from Washington, DC.
