Welcome to The Legacy House Wooster! This is a charming Victorian home within two blocks from the wonderful downtown attractions, shops and upscale dining. Our grandparents' love for people and hospitality inspired us to create a warm and inviting home where we could share their legacy and traditions with others while restoring their historic home back to it's former beauty. Experience all the amazing opportunities Wooster has to offer while enjoying a unique, comfortable home to relax in! The Legacy House is a two story freestanding home with private driveway for off street parking and spacious fenced yard. The first floor suite has it's own private external entrance and contains a full kitchen, full dining room, full living room (with a daybed and separate trundle bed) and one master bedroom suite with full bathroom. A lovely front porch, back porch and fenced-in yard under the shade of a stately oak tree are yours to enjoy. We give our guests privacy. Of course, we love hosting and meeting new people from all walks of life as well, so if that's what you would like, just ask! We're less than a mile away and willing to help as best as we can to make your stay comfortable. We've grown up and lived in Wooster our whole lives and there is so much to explore and enjoy here! While staying at the Legacy House, you can easily experience all that Wooster has to offer: -only two blocks to historic downtown, local dining, retail & more -only one block to upscale grocery -less than one mile to the Ohio Light Opera, College of Wooster Campus & 18 hole golf course - approximately two miles to Ohio State Universtiy's ATI campus featuring rose, flower and tree gardens as well as walking paths -less than one mile to two huge playgrounds, public pool, and Knights field spray ground for the kids -many large Amish communities within 30 minutes From The Legacy House's location, it's easy to walk, bike or drive to everything you might need. There is also a public transportation service called "Wooster Transit" that routes through all of town with a stop one block from The Legacy House.
