My favourite is the award winning Highland Folk Museum, also the Highland Wildlife Park, with polar bears and wolves etc. This is golfing country, castles, whisky distillery trail, bird watching, free range reindeer herd on nearby Cairngorm Mountain. Hiking and not forgetting the beautiful sandy beaches at nearby lochs with water sports. Edinburgh and Glasgow airports also an option about 1 and a half hour and 2and a half hours away respectively and there will be a potential for carhire. A very pleasant local walk is the nearby Wild Cat Trail on which I have leaflets for Guest's use. As we are in walking country we are surrounded by magnificent walks. A Horse-Drawn Carriage Tours around the village is so delightful. Welcome!
