Authentic cottage built on the rock overlooking the french garrigue. Comfy lodging renovated and independent. 4 people. Amazing view on wooded hills. Wild and calm surroundings. Well-kept decoration. 2 terraces. Located in Felluns, small village in the heart of the Fenouillèdes region, between the Mediterranean Sea, Upper Pyrenees and Cathars’ country. Fauna and flora, rivers, canyon, vineyard, landscapes, wildlife activities, historical patrimony, cultural events, local producers, … 60m² for 4 people in an old typical southern cottage at the top of a wooded hill. Amazing view. Wild and calm surroundings. Located in a hills area with mediterranean climate and maximum sunlight. Between Mediterranean Sea, Upper Pyrenees and Cathars' country. You will able to enjoy the all lodging in total privacy . Entrance ground level with terrace and planxa-barbecue. Big living room with brand new equipped kitchen, dining area and small salon. Two bedrooms. The first one let see the stone on the wall around the bed and a bay window opened on a private small terrace with view on the mountain. The second one, smaller, designed in a wood chalet style includes 2 single beds. Italian styled shower with exposed stone. Separated restrooms. Ideal for couples with children. No vis-à-vis. Fully equipped. WIFI. Baby furniture available. Additional beds free of charge. Pets welcome. (supplement of 5 per night payable on site) You can move freely in the whole village of 50 inhabitants, in total safety, because there is no roads. Guests can expect a warm welcome and the guests’ children can easily mingle with the local kids who are always available to play! Next to the village there is a small playground where kids can have fun. Less than 50 meters from the village, guests will find beautiful nature. In the near area, you can enjoy the French “garrigue”, the vineyards, a dolmen, an aqueduct, small rivers where it is possible to swim… I live next-door, in an other cottage and I will be at your disposal during your stay. Starting from may/June, I will organise every week a french aperitif to welcome the guests. It’s always very friendly! Guests can order a basket of organic vegetables before arriving. Maps and hiking books are available. Price reduction for certain activities in the region (Canyoning, horse riding, Via Ferrata, rafting). Felluns’ cave and the 12th century church can also be visited on request. Discover the Fenouillèdes, an authentic and wild Mediterranean region. At a walking distance from the cottage, you can see the vineyard, the garrigue, dolmens, a Roman aqueduct, the lake of Caramany, ruins of medieval castle, magnificent panoramas. A few minutes by car, you can visit exceptional sites such as: the Galamus gorges, the Synclinal of Saint-Paul, discover the rich heritage of the Fenouillèdes (Cathars’ castles, Romane’s churches …). Immerse yourself in the prehistory of humanity with Tautavel’s museum , visit the numerous wine cellars and taste the wines of the region (Côtes du Roussillon, Maury …). Practice sporting activities such as canyoning, rafting, climbing, horse riding ... From the North take direction to Perpignan. Before Perpignan exit Barcarès / Rivesaltes. At the large roundabout, take the D117 to Foix and then to Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet. There, at the only traffic light, turn left towards Sournia. Stay on the D619. After Ansignan, Felluns is indicated. (You have to turn twice left). There is a parking at the entrance of the village, 30m away from the cottage. Host’s welcome.
