Enjoy the 800 ft of waterfront from the dock, fire pit, or swinging in a hammock. Feel free to hike Camp Kinderhook trail, and take in views of Kinderhook Lake as you traverse through the thick forest growth. Main house, garage (2 car bays available for guests), walkout basement, pole barn, boathouse, dock, and fire pit. Host availability will be limited; reached only via cell. Local caretaker available for any on-site needs or by text/phone for area recommendations, etc. Camp Kinderhook is a perfectly secluded lakefront retreat for the ideal Hudson Valley experience. Stay on property and hike, fish, swim, kayak, grill, and relax. Play golf at Old Kinderhook Golf Club (3 min drive); bike/hike the Empire State Trail (5 min walk from house); drive to the Village of Kinderhook (7 min), town of Chatham (12 min) or city of Hudson (20 minutes) to enjoy historic, walkable urban life. These towns all offer incredible restaurants, breweries, and eclectic shopping. You should plan to drive or Uber in the surrounding area. Camp Kinderhook is 25 minutes from the Hudson train station (Amtrak) and 30 min from the Albany airport.
