Casa Delano – private mediterranean holiday villa

Casa Delano holiday villa in Los Montesinos near Torrevieja at the Costa Blanca is our private home away from home. We bought it in 2011 and shaped it into our dream house ever since. It sleeps 6 in 3 air conditioned bedrooms, one of them with en-suite bathroom with shower, the other 2 with a shared bathroom with tub. Inside you'll also find a big, fully equipped kitchen which comes also with a dishwasher and all the bits & bobs you need for cooking a delicious meal, living-dining room with a cozy an spacious couch, patio with washer and dryer and access to the rooftop solarium which boasts a view over the saline of Torrevieja and the lovely countryside with orange groves. The terrace overlooking the pool is the perfect place for alfresco dining and lounging. It can also be used as a conservatory in the cooler months as it closes completely with glass curtains. In our mediterranean maintained garden you'll find a good sized private swimming pool, perfect to cool-off, sunbeds, parasols and a weber bbq. Even your car will find a shaded, enclosed parking space on the plot. The pool will be maintained twice a week in the summer months and once a week in the off season. You will be welcomed and be given the keys at the house by our friend Mila when you arrive. The pool is taken care of and will be maintained twice a week in the summer months (Mondays & Thursdays in the morning) and once a week in the off season by our longtime friends Gisela and/or Bruno (we work together 10+ years). Other than that you have privacy a the house. Los Montesions is a small spanish village, 15 kilometers from the coast and the sandy beaches of the southern Costa Blanca, 10 kilometers from the bustling city of Torrevieja and 50 kilometers from the airport "El Altet" in Alicante. The best way of getting around is by rental car or bike.
