Little Hop House - escape to the valley

Little Hop House is a small home nestled amongst the green, rolling hills of the Preston River Valley in beautiful, southwest Western Australia. Situated on a working hop farm, only five minutes out of the nearby town of Donnybrook, but a world away from city life. Whether you want to snuggle up by the fire, explore the trails, enjoy some local produce, wines or craft beer, or perhaps visit some of the cute farm residents, Little Hop House is ready to offer you a little escape. @littlehophouse Little Hop House is located on the traditional lands of the Wadandi and Kaneang peoples of the Noongar Nation. It is a one bedroom (queen), one bathroom cabin with a shower (no bath). It has a dishwasher, washing machine, TV with Netflix, WiFi, wood heated stove/fireplace, reverse cycle air conditioner, a gas cooktop and electric oven. It does not have a microwave. Basic toiletries and pantry staples are supplied as well as farm fresh eggs, your choice of milk/mylk and some seasonal produce. Little Hop House is set up for adults, its non smoking and we ask that guests please leave their animals at home and enjoy the company of ours instead. Little Hop House is on a working hop farm on a gravel road in a rural and agricultural setting. Plenty of parking is available. Public transport is available to Donnybrook town from Bunbury and Perth, we'd be happy to pick you up from town by prior arrangement. Guests can enjoy secluded access to the banks of the Preston River, take part in the annual hop harvest in February and experience many other facets of life on a small mixed enterprise family farm. Donnybrook is one stop on the Bunbury Geographe Wine Trail with a selection of great local producers to sample from. Guest safety: Please note that guests will be required to check out early in the unlikely event that a catastrophic bushfire risk is forecast. If this should eventuate guests would be fully refunded for the balance of their stay. We offer minimum 1 night stay Mon-Thurs and minimum 2 night stay Fri-Sun.
