Salt Spring Guest Suites- The Oscar Suite

At Salt Spring Guest Suites we offer boutique styles suites tucked in close to the the village of Ganges in the center of Salt Spring Island. The "Oscar" suite is the perfect location for your holiday getaway. Perched above town, it's a quick 5 minute stroll into the heart of Ganges. Vacation in style + comfort with modern furnishings in this cozy suite. The Oscar suite offers a kitchenette, queen size bed, full size pull out couch and dining tables + chairs. Enjoy local handmade Pure Salt Spring shampoo, conditioner + body wash in the shower. You will enjoy the privacy of your own suite which is a part of the main home, and neighbours our other guest suite. Quiet time begins at 10pm thru 7am. You will access your suite via a lockbox and will come and go as you please. There will always be someone available should you need anything but we like to allow for your privacy so will only reach out should you need any support. A quick stroll to town lands you in the heart of the village where you can grab a coffee, check out the Salt Spring Saturday market and head to the Tree House cafe for dinner + music under the stars or a lovely meal seaside at Auntie Pesto's Cafe. We also live right next to Mouat's Park where there are hiking trails and a frisbee golf course! Harbour Air + Seair fly directly to Ganges harbour from downtown Vancouver or Richmond. We are within walking distance of the dock. Salt Spring transit offers bus service around the island and will pick you up anywhere along the road if you wave them down! BC Ferries services Salt Spring through three different ferry terminals: Tsawwassen to Long Harbour, Swartz Bay Victoria to Fulford Harbour + Crofton on Vancouver Island to Vesuvius Bay. Please be aware that there is a very friendly resident dog named Otis. He lives upstairs and will often play in the enclosed front yard. He will bark at new friends but is extremely gentle. Also, as this is a family home upstairs, the normal daily activities and footsteps may be heard. We adhere to the quiet times however and do our best to keep noise to a minimum during your stay!
