My unit is located near Woden Town Centre with shops, restaurants and hospital less than a km away. After 6 months of hard work and fun, I have transformed an empty space into a spacious, comfortable unit providing all you need for a seamless stay. It has a large kitchen with centre island bench, and a lounge/dining area opening onto a courtyard which captures all the winter sun. The bedroom also opens to a small private courtyard. It’s perfect for short or long stays. Located on a quiet tree lined street is my recently created one bed unit and my second property listed on airbnb. I am really pleased with the result and hope you will love it. From street level you walk down 6 steps through the courtyard to the front door. You enter into a spacious north facing kitchen/dining/lounge room with opens directly onto the front courtyard. Relax in the courtyard on a comfortable lounge with chaise, perfect for a quiet cuppa. From the living area you walk up 5 steps to the bedroom and ensuite. The bedroom also opens onto a small private courtyard. The beauty of my unit is that a major Westfield shopping centre, several restaurant strips, cinema and parks are all within walking distance. The city and tourist attractions are only a 10 -15 min drive away. It is a flat walk of 750 metres to the Canberra Hospital if you have loved ones staying there. Unlike most units and townhouses in the area, you have total privacy from every room and are not overlooked by neighbours. Phillip is conveniently located within walking distance to Westfield Woden which has over 210 stores including Big W, David Jones, TK Max, Coles and Woolworths. It is close to great cafes, restaurants, clubs (Hellenic and Southern Cross), Eddison Park and playing fields. Driving around Canberra is relatively easy with little traffic compared to other major cities like Melbourne and Sydney. However if you don’t have a car, from my place it is an easy flat walk of less than a km to the Woden bus interchange which provides easy access to the city centre via the “Blue Rapid” high frequency service which departs every 10 minutes and with a trip time of only 13 minutes. Buses depart every 10 minutes from 7am to 7pm and then every 15 minutes to last service.
