The Purple Place with a freshwater creek, a deepwater swimming hole and an expansive view over the open creek flats is designed for complete comfort whatever the weather. This luxurious home has a huge deck for watching the rain come down, enjoying the wildlife, quiet contemplation or socialising. A gravel all weather road leads you through natural bushland teeming with wildlife, orchards and creek frontage. Open decks, timber floors, cinema room and a huge central kitchen charm and calm you. Located only about 10 minutes from the pretty little seaside town of Cardwell, with some great spots for coffee, dinner or just takeaway fish and chips to enjoy on the beach front. If you wish to bring your fur baby please advise when booking. There is an enclosure which adjoins the back veranda area and we do ask that you please respect our wildlife by securing your dog on a leash when it is not in the enclosure. Although we don't consider The Purple Place to be child friendly we do recognise that holidays are all about families too, so please advise when booking so that we can provide a highchair or portacot as may be required. You will need a vehicle or your own transport to travel around the area and into town. There is plenty of free parking near the house.
