Kaï Zanmann is a spacious two-bedroom house with private entrance including a covered patio, a kitchen, a bathroom and a mezzanine set in quiet area with garden, within walking distance to the sea and river All the rooms are well ventilated by traditional wooden sliding windows which open onto a garden planted with a large variety of fruit trees. Children that can climb a ladder love sleeping on the mezzanine too! Kaï Zanmann is located in a beautiful area not far from the Pitons, in between the beaches of Choiseul, Piaye and Vieux-Fort. Included in your stay: we'll take you for free to one of the last preserved black-sand turtle-laying beaches of the South. For waterfall lovers, the neighboring parish of River Doree brags a silver-threaded stream which tumbles along at the bottom of a canyon 150 feet deep. A bridge, barely 20 feet wide, crosses it from side to side. If you stand on the bridge and drop a stone, several seconds go before you hear the splash as it hits the water. Within walking distance also lies the Saltibus Waterfall Trail, a two-hour trek through a verdant, shady, rainforest at the end of which you will be rewarded by a swim in a series of waterfalls. Further North, the pearl-black sand beach of Sabwisha offers the tranquility of the Caribbean sea next to the village of Choiseul. On your way back, you could also visit the Maison créole, a charming little artifact museum. Buses to Vieux-Fort and Soufrière pass quite regularly on the main road. The waiting time is shorter in the morning and in the evening though. There are no buses on Sunday and public holidays. Airport transfers by taxi cost about 25 US$ from Hewanorra International Airport (located in the vicinity of Vieux-Fort) and 100 US$ from Vigie Airport (located in the vicinity of Castries)
