I can be contacted if required - full details will be provided prior to your arrival and can be found in the house 'Manual'. About us We moved to Kingham five years ago after one of the owners, who grew up in the area, managed to persuade his young family to move from London to this quiet corner of England. What they found was a stunningly beautiful and friendly village, with amazing pubs and a wonderful community. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do. Other things to note Christmas, New Year, Easter and the Cheltenham Festival are Special Events, with bookings typically limited to a week from a specific start day. Please contact the host prior to booking. Free parking is available 1 minute walk from Squirrel Cottage at the village car park. Parking and offloading is not permitted outside of the cottage gate. Kingham has a train station with direct trains to London (72 mins) and Oxford (30 mins). This is a 25 minute walk away but not an easy walk with heavy luggage. We would recommend pre-booking a taxi if travelling by rail as the bus service from the station to the village is infrequent.
