Secluded MA/NY Border Ski & Country Living Retreat

Take a break & unwind at our secluded property located within minutes of the bucolic Berkshires & Hudson Valley. We are surrounded by State forest with many trails leading directly to our property. The abundance of activities this area offers is here for your pleasure. Within minutes, you have the opportunity to experience your choice of 3 Ski resorts, phenomenal restaurants, museums, performing arts, holistic retreat centers and so much more. We welcome you to our little piece of earthly heaven Our home home is off the beaten path, with no neighbors in sight (Until the leaves drop, then you can see lights from the houses that are over the river & through the woods). Yet, it's mere minutes from any & everything you might want or need during your stay. The main living space is an open concept floorplan that includes entry from the 2 car garage. There are 2 other exits on opposite sides of the house that lead to our beautifully landscaped gardens and lovely 4 acre yard. One of these exits leads to a small deck with a propane grill , a small table with chairs & clothesline (we highly recommend hanging your linens out to dry on the line. The fresh, clean scent that is achieved as a result of using it, during all seasons, can not be matched by the electric dryer that is also available for your use). The property butts up against the Harris Conservancy, consisting of several miles of perfectly maintained trails for exploring while enjoying wonderful nature walks, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, bird watching & general connection to nature, during any season. The main level of our home includes a fully equipped kitchen with an 6 burner industrial chef's stove, small dining area with a table that seats 6 (when the leaf in installed), a communal bathroom with a stand-up shower and a common area/living room. There are 2 couches, a recliner, oversize stuffed chair with ottoman & multiple coffee & side tables. This gathering space does not have a television (there are 3 TVs in the home). But, there are lots of books & games for you to enjoy your precious family time, together. Also on the main floor is a primary bedroom with a full sized bed, an on-suite bath with a tub, washing machine, long counter for folding and lots of extra storage space. Finally, there is another small bedroom that holds a twin sized bed & private office/work station. Upstairs you'll find another living room which includes a 30" TV, a sofa bed & a comfy 5x3' window enclave that serves as another sleeping space. This area also has a creative/crafting workspace or another desk/workstation. Also upstairs is a very large bedroom with a queen sized bed with an automatic lift feature. This spacious, private room includes a closet, an en-suite bathroom with a stand up shower, a sitting area with a rocking chair, a loveseat & the 3rd television. The basement holds another washing machine & an electric dryer. Outside, you'll find a firepit with chairs & a 2-person swing to enjoy the night sky filled with glorious stars. The entire yard is professionally landscaped gardens, filled with aromatic flowers, fruits, vegetables, herbs, plants & trees. We welcome you to enjoy our space as much as we do, with our family and friends. Guests enter the house through the garage doors with a code.. Then enter the house by keyless entry. there is a camera on the outside of the garage that allows the homeowners views of the driveway. You have the entire house for your stay. There are a few off limit spaces within the house and on the property. You can reach your host Kelli who lives 20 minutes away by phone. owners can be reached by phone through Kelli. Our Home is located on the epitome of a country dirt back road. It is secluded. Neighbors homes are only visible when the leaves have dropped. We are surrounded by state conservancy land with one conservancy parking & entryway at the beginning of Bloody Hollow Rd, 1000 feet from our driveway. A vehicle is required to get around. The nearest town is about 8 miles from the home. there is a camera attached to the garage that allows the homeowners views of only the driveway
