Stargazer Lodge Pod with Hot Tub

Enjoy the beauty of the Cumbrian countryside, the unspoilt night sky, in this unique Lodge pod ( The only ones in England!) With everything you’ll need for a rustic experience but with Modern convenience. The cute and quirky experience of a Pod, with a full kitchen and shower room, just like a lodge! One double, one stargazing mezzanine level room ( ideal for children over 6) and a pull out double in the living area. Let’s not forget the bubbling hot tub, with fantastic views! The Lodge pods have an enclosed secure garden with furniture and Hot tub, and even a covered decking with hanging chair, but still have the 50 acres of woodlands, grounds and gardens available along with our other estate guests on Blaithwaite Estate. The lodges have modern conveniences, such as lcd screen flame fire & heating, TV, wifi box, beautiful kitchen with induction hob, full size oven, micro, toaster, kettle etc. Lovely shower room, instant hot water and bedding and towels provided! The lodge pod has a double bedroom, a mezzanine level ( suitable for ages 6 plus) and a large pull out in the living space too. There is a travel cot and booster type high chair, but no stair gate is possible due to the ladder stair style up the stargazing mez. The Deck to the front of the glazed lodge pod is ideal to sit and admire the night sky! With so little light pollution… or you can hop in the private hot tub and enjoy the view, either upward or across the Solway and Criffel hill and Eskdale hills too. The property has a private enclosed garden and a private hot tub. Parking is right outside for 2 vehicles. The main estate grounds of 50 acres are shared with other estate guests. We are always available via text or phone incase of emergency. Our estate office is open daily in the summer and Tues-Sat in the winter. Check in will be via key box with a code. You are staying the the heart of Blaithwaite estate. Situated on the northern edge of the Lake District in Cumbria. Easy access to good roads! To the west Cumbrian coast ( 15 mins to the beach) to the Lakes ( Derwent and Bassenthwaite are the closest) and the historic city of Carlisle, even the Scottish Borders ( Gretna Green and outlet village 40 mins) Blaithwaite estate is just between the A595 and A596 heading past Wigton, before Cockermouth.
