We welcome you in a typical farm of the "Bassa Reggiana" where, during more than two centuries, our family has raised cows and produced the milk used to produce Parmesan cheese. Nearby the house are the stables and barns where hay and farm equipment are stored. Looking forward to welcoming you! You will be accommodated in the main house which overlooks a magnificent 17th century church. The ground floor of the house consists of two rooms of 20m² each, a private bathroom of 25m², a large fully equipped kitchen (stove, oven, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, electric kettle and coffee machine). The whole ground floor will be at your disposal to relax, in unfettered freedom, and enjoy the countryside surrounding the property. You can stroll through our heirloom fruit orchard, fully immersed in the tranquillity of nature, or go on a bicycle ride (at your disposal) to admire the beautiful sunsets on the Po River. On request, you will have the opportunity to taste local gastronomic specialties and, if you feel like taking it up a step further, you can experiment traditional regional recipes while cooking with the hostess. We will be happy to help you discover our region by giving you the best addresses and places of interest both in terms of cultural heritage and gastronomy. If you feel so inspired, we invite you to watch how the cows are milked and how the Parmesan is made. Depending on the season, you can also attend various farm works such as, in June the harvest of wheat, from May to August haymaking, in the end of August the harvest of corn, in September the harvest of Lambrusco grapes, in October the ploughing and the autumn sowing. The train station is located less than a 10 min walk away (Parma is 30min away by train). From Parma, you can take the high-speed train and reach Milan in 1 hour, Florence in 1:30, Rome in 3 hours and Venice in 3 hours. You will find many bike paths along the Po river and all across the countryside around the house.
