Dream Dome on Foothill of Mountain

Enjoy the rustic elegance of this uniquely designed acoustic dome on the edge of a forest. Take an early morning stroll down tree studded paths as peacock and bharadwaj calls waft through the air. Take advantage of our curated bookshelf and cold pressed juices in the afternoon then finish your night with a warm, crackling campfire. An unforgettable and rejuvenating experience perfect for couples, friends, and solo-travellers looking to reset and reconnect. Maitraban is located an hour away from Pune at the foothill of a tropical, biodiverse mountain named after the local Peer (Prophet). To your left is a dense two-acre government-protected forest region full of rare birds and insects; to your right, a floriculture plant with a large rose nursery. You will have the Dome (300 square feet) to yourself and access to the entire outdoor property to walk, nap, and read. There is only one Dome on our property - meaning you will have a level of space and privacy unimaginable in the city! The Dome opens on all sides with triangular windows, letting in breeze and sunshine. It also has a recently renovated, private bathroom. Maitraban has 600 varieties of trees, a small rice paddy, a large Vermicompost set-up, three beautiful cows, a chicken coop, and a friendly dog. There is a campfire, traditional chula wood-fired stoves, a platform for yoga and exercise, and a small area under a banyan tree for meditation. The mountain behind us takes about an hour to climb each way. We have designed this space as a place to unplug, think, dream, create, and have fun. We are far away from any urban area and there is no TV inside the dome. This is the kind of place where you can take a deep breath. We serve vegetarian breakfast and lunch, for dinner you have the option of veg or non-veg. We can accommodate food allergies and will be in touch with you in advance about the menu. The Dome also includes a fridge, an electric kettle, tea and coffee satchels. The space is secluded so make sure you bring your own snacks and drinks before travelling. The price includes lunch and dinner on the day you arrive, breakfast on the day of departure, and three meals on any day in between. We serve healthy meals that feature local flavors & delicious Indrayani rice grown on our farm. We also offer cold pressed juiced and snacks for a nominal fee. Meal timings need to be communicated in advance so we can plan as the kitchen is not open 24hrs. 2. The people who work here and help take care of the space must be treated with respect. It is not their job to carry your luggage or do other menial tasks. Any disrespectful treatment will not be tolerated. 3. We can arrange for massage therapy sessions at an extra cost, please ask in advance so we can plan. 4. You are encouraged to use everything in the Dome to your heart's content, but please do not take anything home with you. 5. There is no kitchen in the Dome, but you will have an electric kettle, filtered water, an array of teas and coffee, and a fridge. 6. We have a washing machine connected to our house (on-site) which you are free to use at no extra charge. Just ask us first. 7. Please do not smoke inside, you are welcome to do so outside of the Dome next to the ashtray. Please put your cigarette buds in the ashtray. 8. Stay up as late as you like and have a ton of fun! Just please refrain from listening to loud music and make sure you throw litter in the dustbin :) 9.
