This beautiful house is located in the municipality of Los Silos, located in the northwest of the island of Tenerife and has an area of 24.23 km2 . It was founded after the conquest of Tenerife and owes its name to the three cereal deposits that were built in the area. Agriculture was the main economic activity in Los Silos, especially in the cultivation of cereals, sugar cane and vineyards. The Aregume mountain protects the historic centre from the north winds, which led the population to settle in this area and on the axis of the Camino Real (Royal Road) that linked Garachico and Buenavista. The most important buildings were built around the Plaza de La Luz, many of which are still standing today.
