On offer for you is a private room with shared luxury shower room, in spacious modern apartment. It's a lovely bright airy room, which catches the morning sun via the large window. There is a double bed, with super comfy firm pocket sprung mattress and an assortment of pillows to suit all comfort needs. There's a desk/dressing table with chair, which provides ample storage, space to work and somewhere to eat. The quirky coat stand and hangers offer a practical place to hang things up. Bedding and towels are provided. The apartment benefits from unlimited super-fast wifi. The shared bathroom is an ultra-luxurious and very glamorous shower room, with slate-look floor. It's difficult to photograph, so the photos do not do it justice! The very spacious double shower cubicle has both a fixed rain shower and separate hand-held shower, providing an indulgent bathing experience! Shampoo and shower gel are provided for your use if you wish. The shower room is shared with your host – for our mutual comfort and convenience, we will agree approximate timings and tips for its use when you check in. There is a contemporary open-plan kitchen which provides unlimited tea & coffee - just help yourself! Feel free to use the toaster and microwave, but otherwise, the kitchen is not available for 'self-catering'/cooking meals. A small space in the fridge/cupboard to store your food can be negotiated. There are plenty of places to eat within easy walking distance of the apartment: Frankie and Benny’s, Great Park pub and various restaurants on the Bristol Road South and in Rubery village. There's also an M&S food at Longbridge, and Morrisons within walking distance. Your host will welcome you on arrival, show you round and talk you through the house rules (mainly for use of the shared spaces). Your host is friendly and helpful, but values own privacy. Your host lives in the apartment. The lounge is therefore private and use of it is by invitation only. There are no pets or children in residence in the apartment. The apartment is in Rubery Great Park, which is about 8 miles south west of Birmingham city centre, 6 miles from Bromsgrove, 1 mile from Longbridge and 1 mile from Rubery village centre. It's very convenient for the offices and business on Great Park, which are only 5-10 minutes’ walk away – and we are a friendlier and cheaper alternative to the Premier Inn across the road! It's only 5 minutes by car to Longbridge train station. Bus stops for services 63, 49 and 61 are all within 5-10 minutes’ walk from the apartment to get into Birmingham city centre. Street parking for your car is readily available across the road from the apartment. The apartment is 5 minutes from the M5 junction 4; 10 minutes from M42 junction 2; and 8 miles from Birmingham city centre and all its delights. Local attractions include Waseley and Lickey Hills country parks – both within a 10-minute drive. Walking 2 minutes from the apartment there is a park, a lake, a wood and lots of leafy lanes for strolling through. Your bedroom is private and there is a lock on the inside of the door. The hallway, bathroom and kitchen are shared with the host who lives in the apartment. The lounge is private and use of it is by invitation only. Your host will be available to help you during your stay, but values own privacy.
