Enjoy this peaceful riverside retreat with family and friends. This charming 1950’s mountain cottage is set on the sparkling Salmon River in a tiny Mt. Hood Forest Village, a short 30 min drive from Mt. Hood. Enjoy skiing, hiking and other sports as well as the Alpine slide and other rides on Mt. Hood. Sandy Ridge, a world renowned biking trail sits across the road off hwy 26. There are plenty of beautiful nearby hiking trails, lakes, rivers. Pet friendly. Free use of sno-park/forest pass. Open floor design suitable for family vacations. Two large bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms.. Beautiful kitchen with gorgeous old Viking stove and huge SubZero fridge. Wide open jr. acre lot on riverfront. Friendly and small village. Property is on a 3/4 mile forest loop with only one way in and out just off highway 26. We can easily be contacted for assistance by texting. Small, friendly, with some locals having lived there for decades. Forest passes are helpful if you plan to do a lot of activity. We have a notebook that helps you to know which places need passes. Passes are easily purchased at nearby stores and gas stations. Free use of sno-park/forest passes for winter sports you might want to enjoy on the mountain. We are pet-friendly.
