A playing field and local play park are across the road. Lovely walks are in the immediate vicinity. As Guinea Fowl Cottage is in a semi-rural location, a car is the best way to travel as there are virtually no buses. Romsey (2 miles from Guinea Fowl Cottage) is serviced by rail and bus stations. If guests do not have a car, then taxis are an option for getting to Romsey. The nearest shops (both food and retail) are in Romsey.
