A charming, ground level apartment (attached to an 1850’s Greek revival home) with two adjoining bedrooms, a fully furnished kitchen, and 3/4 bath. This little gem features private parking, a sun deck & porch swing, a court yard with dining area and flag stone patio. This unit was designed with easy accessibility and handicap convenience. (A shower chair is available upon request) Situated on a hill, but within walking distance, we are just minutes away (0.8 miles) from downtown Wellsville. We love sitting on the many decks & patios featured on our house. Guests will enjoy a spacious deck on the front of the guest house with a porch swing & wicker furniture, A small court yard & dining area just off to the side. Have a seat on the furniture situated on the flagstone patio or on the beautiful covered glider sitting nearby. Each area laid out with accessibility in mind. There is a view of the mountains in the distance and the town can be glimpsed thru the trees & houses. We are centrally located for day trips to the many wonderful places in this grand region. Discover the beauty of Letchworth Park, Finger Lakes, many vineyards, state forests, Kinzua Skywalk, Swain Ski resort, Tall Pines ATV park, Houghton College, SUNY, Alfred University and many more. The driveway is spacious with plenty of parking. (5 - 7 spaces ) We share the parking area with the guest house. Please feel welcome to enjoy the flagstone patio & glider. These are also shared spaces with our guests. We will be on site to welcome you. Should you need us for anything, we are available by call or text. Since we are neighbors, it’s very easy for us to pop over. Just up the hill from Wellsville’s historic Pink House and built before Wellsville was incorporated. This Greek Revival home with guest house is nestled up to the woods. Once home to a 50 acre working farm, the property now has just shy of 2 acres within village limits. Established in 1850 and affectionately named in it’s day “The Home on Hillside” (by the first lady of the house), it stands a tribute to the elegant days of another era. The guest house is within walking distance of downtown Wellsville, Main Street shopping, The River Walk, The Wag Trail & many local shops & restaurants where outdoor dining is available during the summer. The temperature is moderate & the countryside is beautiful all year round. Especially in the autumn. We recently expanded our driveway and have plenty of parking available. However, we share the right of way on the mouth of the driveway with our neighbor and respectfully request that this access never be blocked. Thank you for being conscientious.
