The Old Chapel is a spacious character property situated in the heart of beautiful Cley and within walking distance to the sea. The property is truly unique and with two separate living areas, four bedrooms and bathrooms there is plenty room for large groups. With high ceilings, beautiful furnishings and a sunny garden this stylish detatched chapel conversion also includes a bar and wood burning stove which will be a favourite with those wanting a special stay in this popular coastal village. Recently renovated, this quirky luxury retreat is ideal for multi-generational families or a group of friends looking for a coastal escape at any time of the year, there are four spacious bedrooms and four bathrooms with two en-suite and two family bathrooms one with a roll-top bath and a downstairs toilet. There is also a sofa bed for larger groups. The cosy and spacious bar and snug is the perfect place to gather after a busy day out exploring the Norfolk coast host or to simply sit and relax. The open plan living space boasts a large banquet table, sofa area and breakfast area in the kitchen. There are plenty of sofas and places for remote work. For summer days, there is a seating area in the garden and side patio. With the beach only a 10-minute walk away and the fantastic local pub and shop also a stone's throw away, the village is wonderful for those wanting to stay local. There are plenty of local walks and places to visit and eat. The Coasthopper Bus can be taken from the village if you'd like to explore the many other coastal villages and beaches in either direction. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust Visitor Centre is just down the road at Cley Marshes for any wildlife enthusiasts. Ground Floor: Open plan living space: kitchen, living and dining room A very spacious and stylist room with large industrial doors leading to the courtyard and garden. Large dining table seating ten and a large sofa, love seat and sofa bed with a large smart TV. Well equipped kitchen with large range cooker, separate oven with grill and microwave, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher and breakfast seating area perfect for large groups. Snug/bar room: Another well-designed room with bar seating area, bar fridge and large smart TV. Large corner sofa for a cozy separate seating area. Both are served by the wood burning stove. Utility room complete with washing machine and tumble dryer and downstairs bathroom for those coming straight from the beach. Separate downstairs w/c. First Floor: Main bedroom: Lovely super-king size four-poster bed and panelled wall. Spacious en-suite bathroom, walk-in shower with rainfall shower head and large sink area. Second bedroom: Large super-king size bed, original chapel windows and en-suite shower and w/c. Third bedroom: Super-king zip link bed with the option to be moved into two single beds, one other single bed. Fourth bedroom: Double room with desk area and large wardrobe. Family bathroom: Lovely wall mural, standalone roll top bath, walk-in shower with rainfall shower head, WC, wash basin and walk-in shower with rainfall shower head Outside: A fully enclosed garden comprising small patio seating area. There is side access to the downstairs shower for those coming back from the beach. Additional information: Please note, there is no off-street parking at the chapel, there are some spaces on the high street opposite the house, the village hall car park or Fairstead are a short walk away for parking. Dogs are welcome but aren't allowed upstairs. Please message if you would like to bring more than one dog. Cley is a beautiful and popular village on the North Norfolk Coastal Path. It boasts two pubs with sunny gardens, a delicatessen selling local produce, independent bakery, local shops including the famous Cley Smokehouse, art gallery and pottery workshop. Cley is a quiet friendly village with pathways for pedestrians leading through the village and to the coastal path. Cley is also famous for its stunning views across the marshland and raised walkway through them out to the beach. The area is particularly popular with ornithologists and the Cley Marshes Visitor Centre has lots of information about the natural beauty of the area. Blakeney is a 1 mile along the coast where seal trips run from Blakeney Point. Wiveton Hall is 10 minutes walk away and offers cafe with views of the sea and fruit picking. Sheringham and Holt are within 15 minutes drive and have larger supermarkets, restaurants and shops.
