Dogwood Yurt
My place is close to... nature public transport woods walks Red Lion pub Three Legs microbrewery Rye Battle Hastings. Reached down a leafy lane lined with Oak trees, the yurt is a 20 foot diameter, felt-lined Ornate Turkmen built from Ash trees sourced from the Glyndebourne Forest and is of a strikingly beautiful construct. It has a 6 foot roof wheel which is great for lighting during the day and on clear nights gives fine views of the stars; it is also possible to partially open up the roof. There are barn owls, badgers and rabbits for company and the surroundings are usually alive with birdsong, with an amazing morning and dusk chorus. Externally the yurt is surrounded by decking and is separated from the campsite in its own private space including a firepit and picnic table; there is parking very close by. Internally the yurt is decorated in an eclectic but chiefly Tibetan style and is equipped with... a Morso Wood Burning Stove.
