Nearby is the unspoiled, characterful city of Angouleme (25km) plus many picturesque country walks, historical sites, quality restaurants and local amenities. Kitchen includes coffee machine, filtered water/ice dispenser, 2 dishwashers, electric oven and kettle. Basic amenities are provided on arrival. Mattresses are of high-quality and comfortable as is the bed linen. Extras include use of 4-oven Aga, bike hire, bread delivery, transfers, and laundry services. A deposit of £1500 is to be paid by bank transfer before arrival. The full amount will be repaid within 7 days once a full inspection has been carried out. As this is a period property, this is not a suitable space for children under 12. Concierge is in a separate living space. None of the facilities would be used by them, they will only be seen first thing in the morning tending to the pool and gardens.
