Little Meadow

Little Meadow is a self-contained holiday apartment located in the heart of Dittisham. There are a few steps up to the front door, once inside the accommodation is on one level. Fully equipped with its own outside decked areas and parking Little Meadow is perfect for couples looking to explore the local area, including the river and the numerous countryside walks or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of this beautiful riverside village. One dog welcome. A few steps lead up to the front door which opens into a hallway with ample coat and boot cupboard storage. The main living room is through a door to the right, a lovely bright airy room with vaulted ceiling, dual aspect patio doors and glazes gable. The sitting area has a sofa and armchair along with TV and electric fire. The dining area comfortably seats 2. Through the patio doors you can access the deck that surrounds the exterior of the apartment. Off the living room is the bespoke solid wood kitchen which is well equipped with dishwasher, electric oven, electric hob and fridge and microwave. (Guests have access to the washing machine and freezer in the garage beneath the apartment). The large light and airy super king bedroom (zip and link so can be 2 single beds, please request at the time of booking), set within the eaves at the front of the apartment with velux windows that offer glimpses of the river Dart. The bedroom is also furnished with a chest of drawers, sofa and built in wardrobe. The bathroom is off the hallway with toilet, hand basin, bath with overhead shower. Outside: There is a small decked sitting terrace accessed via the patio doors from the living area as well as a further sitting area with patio table and chairs located up a small flight of stairs. If the main house is unoccupied guests are welcome to use the whole garden. Parking: The property is accessed via a long drive with an allocated parking space. Availability: In the peak season, May, June, July and August we need to keep to Saturday changeovers and a minimum stay of 7 nights. However, please do contact us with any requests you may have and we will accommodate if possible. Out of peak season we don't need to keep to a Saturday changeover. Nearby: Located on ‘The Level’ in Dittisham you are within walking distance of the village amenities, including the village shop and post office as well as the two village pubs, seafood restaurant (open during the summer months) and the quayside.
